My point is the fed gov is GIVING them plenty and the miserable living conditions continue, a perfect example that giving away" free stuff" never has been and never will be a long term solution.

Why do you guys make welfare such a big deal I mean all the world problems and all I ever hear is the welfare talk. Know matter what's the topic of the thread is somebody will post something about welfare/foodstamps. Making it seem like they're taking your whole check and giving it away. I work hard for everything I got and it's not fancy but I still have no problem with helping those in need. I mean really do you even no how much they take out your check for welfare. Would you rather let half this nation starve to death. Even the lazy people on welfare. Whatever happened to the right religious beliefs complaining making a huge deal over helping the less fortunate out. Are do they only get religious when it's time to talk about guys and abortions.

because if a recipient fails a drug test and loses welfare ...The innocent kids will suffer.

Please name a country that has not been invaded and the aborigines defeated, or a country that had its own revolution where murder was in tall order. Throughout history, people have been conquered, their land and women taken, leftovers were executed, borders have expanded, entire civilizations have disapppeared, etc.....the only ones crying are the ones trying to line their pockets (they are owed). If not for the way things have developed, neither you nor I would be here.

Heckuva mentality I'm dealing with here. Going through life trying to right every wrong is an endless and tiresome journey. The whole thing in a nutshell is that it happened. Right or wrong, it happened. Why don't the Redskins sue Spain and France for owning the Louisiana territory and eventually selling it to the U.S.? Got to be something they can squeeze out of that.

I don't go through life feeling like I owe anyone anything for something I had no control over, whether it was right or wrong. It is what it is. The greatest country the world has ever seen has its faults, but naming an NFL franchise the Washington Redskins does not even make the list. How petty we have become to give such nonsense any attention at all.
