Yep. I agree. I have to work hard so that I wont fall prey to those biases, but it is hard. I also have to teach my kid the same things. At one point I thought all white people were racist. I am proud to say that I have overcome that feeling.

Without sounding "stupid", I am curious as to why that initial thought was in your life. Was it your surroundings, upbringing, etc? What was it,do you believe, gave you that opinion? Honest question.

I would say it was my surroundings. Black and white people were separated by railroad tracks. There were cities black people couldnt visit. Vidor, Saratoga. I was a kid
