PAMFAM10 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Stop the nonsense he been a hero he been respected I never seen Ben on Fox till recently everybody knows why. Speaking a CPAC come on admit it he's a hero simply because he stood up to Obama and he's black....Don't get me wrong he is a hero saving lives and doing great things in his field of work but that is not the reason he spoke at CPAC. PAMFAM10 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 I think he is a shining example of what one can accomplish if one really puts his/her mind to it. Now that you have told us why you dislike Mr. Carson, please tell us why you also dont care for Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas. When did I say this. Quote
stevenash Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 When did I say this. I was speaking to BIg Girl. But, since you are now involved, would you mind expressing your feelings about Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas? Quote
5GallonBucket Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 so PAM are you saying that the REPs are just using Carson for his skin color? Quote
PAMFAM10 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 so PAM are you saying that the REPs are just using Carson for his skin color? I'm saying that he's only around because he stood up to Obama. Quote

stevenash Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 I could careless about them I just don't go around finding Republicans to hate. So you are not aware that they are both very accomplished and successful black people? They both have the same general outlook on things that Mr. Carson has. What say you about that? Quote

PAMFAM10 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 All boils down to ideology and the entitlement mentality! Like I posted in another thread ...When all else fails just throw out the word ENTITLEMENT. That's you guys bread and butter. Big girl 1 Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Like I posted in another thread ...When all else fails just throw out the word ENTITLEMENT. That's you guys bread and butter. Oh I disagree...entitlements are hands down the bread and butter of the Democrats. You give them your vote and they'll continues to distribute the crumbs. Quote
stevenash Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 I think they use the word entitlement a lot because that is what describes the state of our country currently. Our system glorifies "helping" those who cannot ( or , in many cases WILL NOT) help themselves and looks askance at those who are making it possible for this country to barely keep its financial head above water. If we continue to function in this manner, there simply wont be enough givers to provide for the takers. I know I have said this many times but Greece is a prime example/evidence. Quote

You give them your vote and they'll continues to distribute the crumbs. And crumbs is a very apt description of what is left after a giant, incompetent, and inefficient bureaucracy gets its hands on the bread. jv_coach 1 Quote
Honest Abe Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Wait! How is it that conservatives are supporting Ben Carson? He is a black man, and I thought that all conservatives were racist? No need to worry though because I am certain that liberals will find him guilty of misconduct with a woman; just like they did with Herman Cain. Quote
Big girl Posted May 28, 2014 Author Report Posted May 28, 2014 I like rice and Powell, but I can't stand thomas. When he said he diidnt believe in affirmative action I lost all respect for him. He got where he is because of affirmative action. I am not saying he was not qualified, but affirmative action assures that qualified blacks are given a chance. I doubt if he wouldve been given that chance otherwise, because racism stop exsists Quote

But, you are right, the race-based hustlers need to keep the appearance that racism exist so that they stay relevent (jackson, sharpton). Also -- people bring racism up when they are losing an argument! Quote
tvc184 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 If Ben Carson was for and not against Obama, the Republicans would group him with Al Sharpton. Look at how they dropped Colin Powell like a hot potato! they promote any black that is against Obama, paster James David Manning was the opposite of rev wright and they loved manning rants. Any black that wants to win office can run on obama hatred and win!!! And why shouldn't they be? Wow, the Republicans would be against anyone that is against Obama. Stunning right? But you make the point very well. It is politics that drives the masses, not race. What Dr. Carson would do if he supported Obama would give the Democrats another chance to scream that race is driving the disagreements..... but as we have seen, that is not the case. You use the term "any blacks" like the Republicans only support anti-Obama people if they are a dark skin color. It is a simple truth that the Republicans have a strong dislike for Obama but they even impeached Clinton. Does that strong dislike count or only when it is a different race? You might not have noticed it but the Republicans aren't very fond of white people that support Obama either. It doesn't matter how much melanin is in their skin but where they stand politically. jv_coach, Englebert and Honest Abe 3 Quote
Honest Abe Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Ba'am! You see TVC, people like 'new' Tobie want to paint Conservatives as racists, but his last statement proves otherwise. We vote based on policies, regardless of the color of one's skin. He (and most Liberals) don't want to believe that bc it doesn't fit their agenda. Quote

Can I find stupidity from people on any subject that proves nothing? Yes, Obama has had racists remarks made toward him. Duhhhhh....... And if the next president is a Republican that is black, you will hear some of the same calls. If the next president is a woman, you will hear simply stupidity from the opposing side that did not win. If you predict the day that racial remarks will not be made by anyone from all races, please point out that day. I am going predict it will be the day the world ends. Quote
stevenash Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Yes it exists. I think the Obama economic policy sucks. Sorry, it has NOTHING to do with racism. If you haven't watched the Stephen A. Smith video yet, watch it and tell me where he has gone wrong. Quote
