WOS92 Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Well, my youngest is going to be out 6 weeks... Hernia surgery this Friday... Should be back by the Kountze game if everything goes well... Prayers for a complication-free recovery. Quote
WOS92 Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Actually, the score looked worse than it was. We moved the ball easily, just couldn poke it in... Then WOS had a couple of calls go their way at home (imagine that)...You must be thinking about when WOS played that poor team from Silsbee after we beat them up for ya... We will be ALOT better than when we played yall last year... You can bet on that podna... WO-S had 319 yards, compared to HJ's 197. It was ugly. WO-S will be better this year too. Maybe this year's game will be more interesting ;) Quote
CGull8 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 WOS92.....I believe they threw for almost all their yardage. Quote
WOS92 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 WOS92.....I believe they threw for almost all their yardage. How does that change anything? WO-S had 241 yards passing to HJ's 9. WO-S averaged 3.5 yards per carry. HJ averaged 3.7. Most of WO-S's passing yardage was after the catch, as the previously-posted highlights will confirm. Quote
WOS92 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 Overall, the Mustangs gained 10.3 yards per play as compared to the Hawks' 3.6. HJ ran 24 more plays than WO-S (who ran only 31). Quote
Guest Farmer Fran Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Anyone know how edelmon's son came out of surgery? Have not seen him on here in awhile. Praying for a speedy recovery for the young man. BADSANTA 1 Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 His son was doing well last I heard... ***just for the record...Just saw a picture of HJ SENIORS and they are big and in very shape...looks like they have lived a weight room! I'm saying HJ will one tough opponent this year, they may not drop a game. Quote

bedelmon Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 Anyone know how edelmon's son came out of surgery? Have not seen him on here in awhile. Praying for a speedy recovery for the young man. Hey Fran, he was doing fine until yesterday. Running fever and had to take him back to the hospital. He has an infection. They admitted him and are running iv antibiotics through him for the next 3 days. If it doesnt clear up, they will have to go back in and take the mesh out, let it heal completely, then go back and put in another type of mesh... Sucks... He wants to be with his team and its hard on him. Coach Dubois brought about 5 or 6 of his teamates out to see him last night... Pretty awesome guy.. In other news, the Hawk defense looks so good this year, its friggin insane!!! BADSANTA 1 Quote
