District 12-3A D1 Predictions

I’m going to do my best at picking Region1-4 Winners. Region 3 is defiantly hardest Region. With District 12 very well represented. My top 10 picks.

Region 1 : Wall

Region 2:  Pilot Point or New Boston  

Region 3:  EC, Kirbyville, Buna, Rockdale, Teague or Malakoff

Region 4: Hallettsville

 

I’m going to say who wins Region 3 will win State. We will see how close I get.

Teague has a really really good offense!

Region 3 is definitely stout, whoever comes out on top of it will certainly be battle tested!! I wonder how good the defense's are that Teague put up those big numbers on?? I bet the QB's jersey didn't have to be washed after those games lol!! No matter what level you're playing you've got to pressure the QB.

Maybe one of the reasons they are so good is they protect their QB well?

IMO Teague will not make it out of this region. Not enough run defense. EC, Buna, and Kville would smack them in the mouth until they cried home for mommy. Lol great offensive team though. Probably the best passing game in the region.

Kirbyville also gave up 27 points to Orange field, Buna only gave up 13

I am just shocked *insert sarcasm here* that you failed to mention that Buna only scored 14 pts against Orangefield. Kirbyville? Well they scored 42.  :D

Dew game we know that we both took foot off the gas which you can not use. That Ana game EC won by 23 and Kirby won by 21. The Kountze game against Kirby they where not 100% and EC they where. So by your logic EC is the better team. LOL That my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL We will know a little more Oct 17. :rolleyes:

Yes in the Deweyville game both teams backed off to keep from running the score up so that one shouldn't count. I agree. But by your logic of Kountze not being 100% against us, then the same can be said for us against Anahuac. Our STARTING QUARTERBACK was out of the game cause of an injury. Did you see that? The STARTING QB. Soooo....by that logic, Kirbyville is still the better team. Lol.. (That's my story and I'M sticking to it)

Against Orangefield? Yea, ok. That could be a true statement but it's not my point. My point is that you used a small piece of the pie when pointing out what you did, but left a huge piece hidden because it didn't 'help' you prove your point. In reality, Kirbyville giving up 14 more than Buna. pales in comparison to Kirbyville scoring 28 more than Buna against the same team. Yet you chose to show the smaller of the two differences cause it suited you. Most people would call this an attempt at 'misleading'..

Yes in the Deweyville game both teams backed off to keep from running the score up so that one shouldn't count. I agree. But by your logic of Kountze not being 100% against us, then the same can be said for us against Anahuac. Our STARTING QUARTERBACK was out of the game cause of an injury. Did you see that? EC has had a min of 2 and up to 4 starters out just about every game. Sooooo by that logic EC is the better team. LOL That my story and I'm sticking to it. Again. LOL you know we could do this till the end of the season.  :D I do like your passion for the kats. Time will tell the truth in the end.

Sorry. I had every intention of commenting but I kept having to hype my K-cats on other threads. Lol.. I'm not real familiar with teams outside of our region, but like someone said earlier, I would LOVE it if Pilot Point makes it and we do too. We owe them. :angry:

You know what's sad? There are 3 teams in our district that would take 1st place in a LOT of other districts. But the fact is........one of them has to be 3rd. Wow. That alone tells you how tough this district is. The #1 that comes out of it will have earned it for sure.

Misdirection won't work either my best good EC buddy. Lol.. Your comment was in reference to the reasons why Kirbyville did so well against Kountze, while EC struggled against them. I pointed out that the same could be said for Kirbyville's Anahuac game vs EC's Anahuac game. Their is no checkmate cause this game's been over. I already put the board up, put everybody to bed, and have been sitting on the porch for a while now drinking my adult beverage. :P
