ECFAN#1 Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 All four teams that make the playoffs need to play on different nights so we can go support each other. Alright now who can make this happen. LOL :D Maybe AAW has enough pull to make it happen. LOL Hey if it a money issue I'll go get that 20 dollars out of savings to help out !!! Quote
ecbucs1994 Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 I am curious where the EC/Palestine game would most likely be played? Quote
jwbassman Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 I am curious where the EC/Palestine game would most likely be played? You do know Palestine is probably going to be the 3rd place team out of that district. Are you confident in your 2nd place pick for EC?? Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 22, 2014 Report Posted October 22, 2014 I am curious where the EC/Palestine game would most likely be played? Let's be clear, it's Palestine Westwood, not Palestine High. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted October 22, 2014 Author Report Posted October 22, 2014 Let's be clear, it's Palestine Westwood, not Palestine High. Yeah, that's a big difference. As for the game, maybe Woodville? We have nice facilities and are practically in the middle of the two. Or flip for Lufkin/Beaumont? Quote

Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 Playoff venues are going to be difficult for the first round games Quote
Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 I reeeaaally think we're going to surprise the state in the first round. Malakoff and Teague are both very one-dementional: Teague with their passing offense and Malakoff with their ground attack. Neither plays defense very well. That is this districts strength. Buna, EC, and Kirbyville play much better on the defensive side of the ball. We have the potential to win 3 out of 4 of the first round games.I reeeaaally think we're going to surprise the state in the first round. You don't know much about the Malakoff Tigers hoss Only team right now in this State in Top 5 in offense and Defense Our defense plays hard and fast Our Qb threw for 4 tds and 300 yards last week we are not one dimensional n Teague is also not one dimensional at all they have a beast RB Bighornet 1 Quote

Quote
Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 I hope just like the JV game tonight they both JVs came in 7-0 we won 21-6 But it comes down to our defense slowing down their high octane offense And finishing some ball control drives that's what happened in the JV game tonight we held the ball for long periods of time But we are not going into this game with peashooters we have a lot weapons Key will be our Sr RB he has 86 carries for 819 yards and 21 tds only getting 12 carries a game because of blowouts he needs 20-25 tomorrow night Quote

Time will tell for Malakoff. I think Teague will maul Malakoff. I think our 4th place Kountze mauls Malakoff. LOL I would not beat my chest over this schedule. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong team. LOL Cowboy do want to confirm these records. Teams Malakoff has played record: Mildred 1-5 Daingerfield 0-7 Kerns 6-1 Wins over Italy 2-5, Mildred 1-5, Grand Saline 0-7, Itasca 1-6, Cayuga 3-4, Grapeland 1-6 Edgewood 2-5 Scurry-Rosser 2-5 Edgewood 2-5 Elkhart 3-3 Quote
Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 Buna mauls EC tomorrow night is my prediction Heard the same stuff last year going 11-2 and losing heartbreaker in 3rd round to New Boston who won the Region and we played them with backup qb after our starter broke a vertebrate in his back I like how you put Edgewood in their 2 times that should be Westwood 5-2 if your wanting to play the record game Quote
rykerx144 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 so how do you see that dist finishing? Quote

Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 Tomorrow night is a toss up Most people picking Westwood for 3rd but Elkharts defense is much better than westwood and that game is a toss up Westwood does have 2 speed guys that may make the difference Quote
ECFAN#1 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 so how do you see that dist finishing? Malakoff may have something that I don't see but I don't see it in their schedule. If your asking me it is: Teague Malakoff Palestine-Westwood Elkhart Quote

Maybe it won't be a mauling but man I just don't see either team being a powerhouse in this region lll by their schedule. Maybe I'm missing something but the more I look, the less impressive I get. Just my honest opinion or the ugly truth. Quote
Cowboy620 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 Since you like looking up records look up Daingerfield opponents records they got so beat up in non district they are done Look up Edgewoods opponents record since you like playing that game Quit looking at schedules get you a hudl account and look at some film Quote
rykerx144 Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 I think that's his point,,,, have they played anyone worth watching to see how they match up... I mean come on man!! Hardin looked good on film vs Warren! Quote
