I never said any of the above bubba. I said Kirbyville is the team to beat this year considering they went 9-3 with only one district loss to an opponent who's no longer in the district. They have the same kids coming back along with some pulled up from a good JV squad last season. You do the math sir. They are highly favorite to win this district.


I was obviously being a bit sarcastic for the dramatic effect...look man a good JV squad is still just that till they prove differently...would not bet the farm...

All I here is blah-blah-blah...Kirbyville is so great blah-blah-blah...Kirbyville will give everyone a beat down blah-blah-blah...give me a break! You can spout names and talk trash all you want. You can make claims of greatness till the cows come home, but your team will have to stand on that field every Friday night and live up to your SMACK! When you do loose, you will have an excuse...watch out y'all...big bad Kirbyville is coming to town and they are bionic ballers! Whatever just hush and play the dang game and let the helmets and shoulder pads do the talking Bubba! LOL

I mean come on!  this rant went from "till the cows come home" to "bionic ballers".  

 

I realize that talking all this smack and them having to live up to it could make a Kountze fan nervous and uncomfortable but where we come from they do back it up.....

 

your right it is their job to put the helmets on and let the pads do the proving on the field but its my job to remind you they are going to do it!

They have changed up a few things offensively. QB spot is solid and they have a few good receivers. The leadership of Fortune is starting to take root. Hopefully, most teams will take Hardin lightly but I can assure they will be in contention for a playoff spot.

wow maybe i better do some research on that note.     Hardin for a playoff spot,,,didnt expect that one but nothing surprises me coming out of this district

I guess my attempt at sarcastic comedy was a failure! Dang and I so wanted to entertain the football royalty...and R-144...not the same at all. Okay, Im sorry if I was to harsh and went to far down the ole' rabbit trail. Look guys this is how I see it. Last year Kirbyville did not wipe the floor with Kountze...no where close and without Kountze starting QB. I think Kirbyville will be tough and TBH I dont know how it will turn out. I hope our kids go play to their best ability and leave it all on the field...I hope thats how we approach every game.  I have seen alot of football on Friday nights and I have seen the best take one on the chin and the worst rise to victory...On paper Kirbyville looks strong and every team should respect the ablity. I guess my point is Kirbyville should show some respect in return for programs that have potential to beat them...or not...but either way we wil play the game and The Kountze Lions will take the field with intentions of winning that game regardless of predictions.

This is almost like casting pearls before the swine. Some people just don't get it.

That's a bet!

 

Its not a bet...it was more like an official invite! But eitherway baring an act of God, they will strap it up and play the game. If Kirbyville is as great as they are being made out to be...I will enjoy the game because I love watching a good team play the game even when my team gets beat.

I think people should not take Anahuac lightly this year I think they are going to surprise people this year. New coach very intense and passion for the game and good with the kids. i know this because he coach when i was in school at Anahuac.

I would never take Anahauc lightly...they will always come to compete!
