smitty Posted June 10, 2014 Author Report Posted June 10, 2014 Haven't Obama taught you anything. .. Only thing he's taught me is how to have contempt for the rule of law and the Constitution! Nothing to be proud of though... Quote
stevenash Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 He taught me that you can get elected in spite of having no earthly idea how to lead a country. smitty 1 Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 we'll still have our guy/gal in the white house threw 2024 So PAMFAM10, are you satisfied with the results from having "your guy" in the WH or do results even matter, as long as "your guy" is in? What is it that Obama has done successfully that you want to continue until 2024 as you stated. You do realize we could be looking at $30 - 40 trillion in debt at that time if we continue down this path. Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 So dems only get votes via welfare. Gay marriage, abortion, immigration, economy, had nothing to do with it. The Republican ship is sinking because they're on the less popular side of top issues today not because of welfare. Find a more appealing approach. They do get much of their vote based on entitlements...if you took a straight up vote on gay marriage, abortion and amnesty in all 50 states SEPARATELY, you would figure out the Dems are on the wrong side of these issues. tvc184 Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Haven't Obama taught you anything. .. Yes. He has taught me that you can only scam the public for so long until even your thinking (not blindly following) supporters bail out on you and vote for the opposition. Which is exactly why that the last 6 of his 8 years in office will show him with no political clout whatsoever. He was a lame duck after his second year in office. If the next Democratic nominee for president is lucky enough to win, he/she will begin the term without having any support in Congress and will remain a lame duck through the entire term unless vast changes are made in the way that he/she does business. I wonder if the Dems will realize the same lesson. I doubt it. Quote
stevenash Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 2024 Is that the average annual wage of an American citizen if the dems stay in power? Quote

stevenash Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 But our friends on the left honestly believe that the profit motive is evil and that the primary reason companies go into business should be to provide jobs and break even. Best example of that flawed thinking is British Petroleum. They have paid out billions in damages ( mostly from profits) If they hadn't made a profit, the government would institute another bailout which ultimately winds up coming out of our pockets and our childrens pockets and their childrens pockets, etc etc etc jv_coach 1 Quote

stevenash Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Compared to our current idealogue, even Mrs. Clinton looks mild. ( although it was somewhat pathetic that she recently stated in a television interview that they were broke when they left the whitehouse- that ranks up there with the video causing Benghazi) Quote

( although it was somewhat pathetic that she recently stated in a television interview that they were broke when they left the whitehouse- that ranks up there with the video causing Benghazi) I saw that...they were struggling to make ends meet. :D Therefore, she can relate to the "little man" and his hardships. stevenash Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 That is precisely what this is about. Having the book come out right now is timed so as to help her be a presidential candidate before she formally announces. Its her way of saying " I feel your pain". Quote
