A lot who oppose the President do so because he is part black, because I refuse to believe that people think the things reported on fox news, Hannity etc are true. My sister, who is a teacher, had a 5th grade student tell her that he watched Fox news the night before and he didnt believe the things being said were true. Well, I for one think that 100% of his WHITE side is completely incompetent, a liar, and will to some degree leave this great country worse off than when he took over....only 1% of his BLACK side is of the same....simple math...51% failure . so that makes me - tolerant, compassionate and understanding of the opposite race, however intolerant, lacks compassion and understanding of my own?

Sorry Dove, but the color of ones skin and the history of race relations in this country do not, under any circumstance, provide the individual occupying the highest office in the country exemption from scrutiny and criticism. Mr. Bush received (and still receives, for that matter) a lot of criticism and it was because people disagreed with how he ran the office. Why should it be any different with Mr. Obama?(since they are/were both Presidents, the main common denominator) Sometimes it would appear that those who cry loudest about the desire for equal treatment, actually want better than equal treatment in order for things to be equal from their perspective.

Apparently we don't all know the history of slavery though. In the beginning African slaves (blacks) were traded and sold by their own kings and tribal leaders, as were the whites. Once the European countries outlawed slavery (all slavery) the white's discontinued the act, whereas the African leaders simply found new buyers....but lets not take any of that into consideration. In fact, let's just blame the white man, and take on the "AFRICAN-American" title to honor the very people who sold your ancestors to the highest bidder....of course to do so, one have to take responsiblity for their own peoples actions. With that said, it is a typical liberal stance to blame only one part of the problem rather than it's entirety. Settle the mess in your own house before trying to clean others....just saying.

I'm assuming 5th grade students are our new barometers for what is true or false on news channels? Tell me this Big Girl did you see Prsident Obama make his world tour and apollogize to every one that hates us? I did'nt have to get it from Fox, CNN or andy other network, I saw him and heard him do it for myself, and I think most folks out their form their own educated opinions from what they know rather than just what a network reports. I will say this I did vote for Obama for his second term, and every since I have been kicking myself. (what was I thinking)

When you voted for Kerry, Gore, and Clinton, what black choices did you have? Never voted for Sharpton or Jackson and never will. They exploit situations for their personal economic advantage as opposed to helping anyone. If you look back a couple of years on this board, I was very much of a supporter of Herman Cain. I supported Mr. Cain NOT because he was black but becaues of his business qualifications.( of which Mr. Obama had ZERO, ZILCH, NONE) If you give me the uncle tom speech at this point, you simply confirm what others suspect you of. It might interest you to know that there are a couple of inter racial marriages in my family and neither of those partners perceive me as racist. I have some other news for you. Voting for a black person is NOT an indicator of whether or not an individual is a racist just as not crying at a funeral is not an indication that the loss of a loved one must be validated ONLY with tears. You are very impressed with symbolic "proof" of not being a racist rather than substantive proof. I could have easily told you that I had, in the past, voted for someone black and you probably would have accepted that as "proof". Thats baloney. I know hundreds of people who never miss church but live their lives in a manner that neither their religion or church approves. Now tell me, and please be honest. I am utterly convinced that Barack Obama desires the USA to be no more powerful, no more prosperous, and with no higher standing in the world at the end of his presidency than the native country of his father!!!  It will be interesting for all of us to see the actual results of his 8 years as president, say in about 15 years!!!

Whatever the percentage, it pales in comparison to the people that oppose him for his horrible performance. 

 

Apparently the majority of his votes that were from whites in his first election and his poll numbers were very high weren't racist but they changed sometime during the next six years. I suppose they weren't racist when they voted for him the first go round but now it must be his skin color and not the terrible decisions, nominations, cover ups, criminal actions, etc., that are causing those feelings.

Is the fact that it took so long for us to elect a Black President good enough reason for him to never be questioned or criticized? ( and by the way, there were a number of people who referred to Bush as Hitler and they have no problem with that one whatsoever)
