KFDM COOP Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I heard those 3 at Lumberton were really good.
smartguy Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 shepherd has two pretty good ones...Hubbard and Crowder...they were both 2-3 in a loseing efforft against Hamshire Fannett...both are hitting over .300 this year...
ndnbbdad Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Carnahan for PNG is doing well. 6'1, 205 lb (16-soph). Primary position catcher, but plays 1B and pitches. Stepped up on varsity and filled in pre-season for All District Senior Catcher - Blake Buchanan (out for academic ineligibility). Started District play with highest batting average and OB% (batting in #4 slot). Also played 1B and DH. Don't know how much playing time he will get with a senior heavy team.......one to watch
use2baplaya Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 I can tell you that Kevin Slinner(LCM) is probably the most talented 08' out there. If he ever decides to go after "IT" there will be no stopping him !!!!
tnl91 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 I hear that those kids from Ozen could be very good. I HAVE seen two of them pitch and they look pretty good to me. but i think all the kids on this post has a bright future ahead of them.
WOSMustangs09 Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 how about justin gearhart chase adams seth thomas and matt king from wos?
mekih Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Aaron McFarland of Nederland is definitely one of the best Soph's around. He is batting around 300 for the year, is playing 1B full time and has not even been used as a pitcher yet. All of his younger career has been as a pitcher but he's not being used due to the older arms on the team. Another good NHS soph is Ryan Sampere. He's another pitcher whose time has not yet come and he's playing 3B and SS. These two, along with some not yet on the varsity, will make a stir in the waters in a year or two.
