More help on the way next year as well. After 2 sport star Patrick Mahomes failed to be drafted in the first two days of the mlb draft, he left Whitehouse this morning for Lubbock. Will likely be the #2 QB as a freshman with a low 90s fastball as a pitcher. His father, Pat Sr. was a first team all state selection in football, basketball and baseball out of Lindale before spending 11 years in the Bigs as a middle inning reliever primarily.

I was thinking the same thing. If someone had told me tech would score only one run in the first two games, I would have predicted a sweep the other way.

The Red Raiders do have some good arms and play excellent defense - but I wonder what the measurements are at Dan Law Field. I don't remember it being a huge park like the Disch but I haven't been there either in 20 years.
