stevenash Posted June 19, 2014 Author Report Posted June 19, 2014 It's going to take a little longer for a response ( if there ever is one) because this one is quite a bit more difficult to rationalize away. Quote
stevenash Posted June 19, 2014 Author Report Posted June 19, 2014 The IRS told The Ways and Means committee that computer crashes resulted in ADDITIONAL lost emails, including from Nikole Flax, the chief of staff to former IRS commissioner Steven Miller, who was FIRED in the wake of the targeting scandal. And all of this, of course, is just another phony trumped up scandal by the Republicans. I wonder if this news,( which seems the bulk of the media refuses to make public), makes the kool aid slightly bitter tasting. Nah, probably not. Quote
westend1 Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 Before I read all these articles, tell me which one says that the only emails that were lost belong to the 6 suspected conspirators. Quote

77 Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 Amazing ! And most of the media sits quietly and hope the shoe is not on the other foot at some point in the future! Quote

LumRaiderFan Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 LRF. Assuming that what is said in the article is true(no real sources cited) do you see the difference between what Nash posted and what the article says? There is a lot of speculation over what happened (and rightfully so) because Lerner will not cooperate with the investigation. If there was no wrongdoing and all was above board, do not take the fifth AND produce the emails that we all know were not lost. But she won't do that...now why is that. As far as what Nash posted...take that up with him...he can defend his own posts better than I can. :) Quote
NorthoftheBorder Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 I wonder why the computer crash only affected emails and not tax returns??? I am sure there is a "logical" explanation to all this. Really emails will most likely be on a different server. The lost emails are suspicious, especially if it is not accross the board or affecting a significant numbers of people. There is also software that can be used successfully to retrieve lost data from a computer crash!! Quote

But he said that after emails from embattled IRS official Lois Lerner vanished after a computer failure in 2011, nobody told the National Archives. "They did not follow the law," Ferriero said. Quote

stevenash Posted June 24, 2014 Author Report Posted June 24, 2014 Westend, did the article not say that 6 other people magically lost their hard drives and that these six were persons of interest in the case? Quote
