Sad to see him pass away, he was one of the great all time hitters with a career .336 average... Not many guys play a 20 year career with 1 club...

The two best pure hitters I ever watched growing up: Rod Carew and Tony Gwynn. 

 

Not many of those types of players left in the MLB.
