WHEN|WHERE Starting Thursday night at 9 on CNN

WHAT IT'S ABOUT This week, CNN began its new schedule of 9 p.m. programs, and Thursdays (through the end of July) will be devoted to this 10-part Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman documentary production. "The Sixties" begins with television, while future editions cover, among other topics, the JFK assassination (June 12); the war in Vietnam (June 19) and "Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll" (July 31).

I watched the one about the cold war/cuban missle crisis.  It was well done and interesting.

If you earn $100,000 a year and owe $45.000, that is a pretty serious debt.  However,  it is quite a bit different than earning $100,000 a year and owing $100,800.

Stop drinking the kool-aid.  I never said a Presdent's name.  I said government.  That's why the kids were crying.  To the tune of over 100 trillion in debt!

We went from being the primary lender to being the primary borrower while Reagan was president.

The national debt was about 40% of GDP under Reagan and it is now 100.8% under Obama.
