Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 I didnt know Baylor was in the running, they want him and Kam. Quote
SCDAWG Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 Would any of you high school football guru's know a ball park figure of how many kids verbally commit to someone and then flip? Serious question. Quote
mical Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Just my opinion but I believe the early commit process puts a lot of pressure on kids. I know it is very competitive, but the current recruiting process sometimes forces kids and some families to make early decisions that are not best for the kid.... So later on when other offers, maybe better offers come in they do what is best for them and flip. Is that right?? Quote

Ive seen it time and time again the kids dont play their last year with any fire and dont listen to their coaches. Detremental to their team and safety. A kid can get hurt faster playing half speed. There are exceptions though. I.e. Earl Thomas, and hopefully D.Thompson Quote

Like setting dates for making a verbal commitment when kid has already committed. Quote

Like setting dates for making a verbal commitment when kid has already committed. Except for when the kid opened up his recruitment and decided to set a date himself. Media didn't do any of that. HurricaneCal Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 What exactly is the Lebron syndrome? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 What exactly is the Lebron syndrome? "The Decision" in 2010 Quote
kicker Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 What exactly is the Lebron syndrome? Calling a press conference to anounce where you are going. Lol Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
HurricaneCal Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 ESPN doesn't help create any of this either. Plus how much money did Lebron give to the boys and girls club in Cleveland from "The Decision"? Best player in the NBA probably deserves a press conference. Yeoj 1 Quote

Best player in the NBA probably deserves a press conference.at that time Kobe was the best player, can be argued KD was but the current MVP never requested a presser, he just signed the contract lol…… but anywho, I think since Baylor is in the conversation he might flip to them. Having 2 former Titans there helps also. Quote

dBerrySports Posted June 22, 2014 Author Report Posted June 22, 2014 Looks like there's another update: RT @avi_zaleon: .@CDAUPHINE will not be making his college decision this summer. The 2015 RB said he will announce in the middle of HS football season. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Sheesh. My experience is rarely do these kids "reopen" their recruiting and stay with their original commitment. If Baylor is a better fit for him, he should go for it. Better to switch now than to make a decision you aren't sure about. I just don't think I would be waiting around for the bomb if I'm Kliff. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Gabe Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 Dauphine wont get big head and is far from attention seeker. This is a kid who never smiled when he won 200 and said i was more excited than he was.lol Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
