Big girl
If the republicans dont find someone sane to give the nomination to then hiliary will win in a landslide. If she doesnt so be it. I wont be on this forum whining and complaining.
Big girl
The problem with the republican party is this: if a candidate does not promise to chop Obama's head off and cannibalize his kids, they are not considered worthy opponents. The repubs need to distance themselves from the Tea Party.

PN-G bamatex
Not to mention that many of the Clinton administration's signature achievements are as much a result of the Newt Gingrich's work as they are Bill Clinton's. smitty
westend1
So now credit and/or blame goes to who controls the senate?
stevenash
I wouldn't mind giving Harry Reid credit for many things that get done and for a gazillion that don't get done
PN-G bamatex
So now credit and/or blame goes to who controls the senate? It depends on the circumstances inherent in the situation. I've said on here before that I blame Harry Reid for a lot of things a lot of other people peg on Obama. For instance, I actually think he's more to blame for the debt than Obama is; it was Harry Reid, not Barack Obama, who spent five years refusing to allow a budget to come to the floor of the Senate for a vote. In any case, Newt Gingrich never controlled the Senate, so that's kind of irrelevant to the conversation to begin with.
