smitty Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 Over 200,000 new jobs were net created. WOW! Sounds impressive, right? Well not so fast. The Wizard looked impressive until the curtain was moved. Now, so facts: The civilian workforce participation rate is at a 36 year low of 62.8%. 500,000 "full time" jobs were actually lost. Over 700,000 jobs were actually created. BUT -- those created were PART TIME jobs. Remember when it was said that obamacare would be a reason for the creation of part time jobs and obama and the left laughed? Well, it looks like it's happening! http://hotair.com/archives/2014/07/03/june-jobs-report-288000-jobs-created-jobless-rate-drops-to-6-1/ Quote

Less than 2/3'rds of the available workforce actually have a job. This equates to approximately 100 million people without a job!!! Not saying that the rate was good in the previous 8 years, or during Clinton either, but it is going the WRONG way!!! Could this be a result of the POLICIES that have been put in place??? Quote
stevenash Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 I am glad that the unemployment rate has improved ( despite the poor workforce participation rate) But this "celebration" should have/could have occurred about two years ago. Quote

stevenash Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 I am willing to give him credit for the loss of full time jobs and the gain in part time jobs that are listed on another post I made today. I will also give him credit for a 2% average GDP during a period it could have easily been 4% Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 We also give him full credit for obamacare... the unaffordable health care act. Quote
stevenash Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 LumRaider- you forgot to finalize your post with BOOM ROASTED!!!!!!! That gives it much more credibility. Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 That's way too much embellishment for a simple commoner. Quote
