Peppermint Patty
you so bitter. Johnny 3 and Out. Wish I could have seen that. Unfortunately this chemo room at MD Anderson does not carry the Johnny Channel. Thankfully NBC Sports feels obligated to tweet John Boys every move. baddog
Cleveland letting Manziel be himself. Too bad other teams don't do that.

PhatMack19
@Bostonbww: Johnny Manziel is going to have to work on his pass placement. You can not succeed in the NFL if you just throw at receivers hands all day.

baddog
I didn't watch the whole game, but from what I saw, Manziel looked ok when he had blocking. His ability to scramble is still there, but he is learning what every rookie does and that is the NFL is a whole new game with unbelievable speed. This is just one game. PhatMack19
Cleveland's first game was the Highest rated preseason game ever. Love him or hate him, Johnny moves the meter.

CRUSHCOACH
Love him or Hate him the kid can flat out play and he's exciting to watch. But I still think he's a Spoiled PUNK. JWB
PhatMack19
Bad behavior "always" moves the meter more than good behavior since the Garden of Eden! The rapist and murders playing in the league must get crazy ratings compared to a 21 yr old who just likes to go out partying. TxHoops
Cleveland's first game was the Highest rated preseason game ever. Love him or hate him, Johnny moves the meter. Big time. And that's probably why - the most compelling players/teams are those people either love or hate. Indifference makes for poor ratings. Johnny, like LeBron on the other Cleveland team, fits that bill. Add to that he is one of the most exciting players to watch, and you have a ratings bonanza.
