Steve nash in regards to Zjori I wouldnt care and neither would he. When he was in high school i saw some pretty ridiculous coaching decisions. I didnt get mad.How do you feel about oil subsidies and farm subsides etc. The federal government under the ACA has nothing to do with patient care, what procedures are approved etc.

All you did was gripe about coaching most of his senior year. Now you say you weren't mad?

I am not here to talk about sports. I made observations, I was not made mad. My point is this: Don't make basketball analogies when we are discussing politics. It will backfire on you every time. That was a stupid comparison.

You are so right, Big Girl.  Who in the world would want to listen to the ideas of a coach who has over 20 years coaching experience plus a state title ring as a player when a couple of high school players disapprove?

You are right.  Sadly, ther are some imbeciles ( note the correct spelling) that actually believe what you say.  And then there are some who manufacture lies about what a kid said in an effort to make their case more compelling and "imbecilically" think someone believes them

Ok- Go ahead and start a new thread in the sports forum.  I am sure you will get a lot of support over there with your suggestion that a high school player is better equipped to make game strategy decision than a coach with 20 years of coaching experience, 3 years of varsity playing experience, a state title as a player, and a  district coach of the year designation in 75% of his years as a head coach.

The play didnt work and they lost. The players are out on the court, they can sometimes see things that the coach cant. A wise coach will listen to his players from time to time. :). I dont want to talk about basketball anymore.

Sorry, the coach has a much better view and UNDERSTANDING of the game than the players- hence the name coach- As previously stated, there is MUCH MORE WISDOM within 20 years of coaching and winning experience than there is with a teenager .  The play didnt work or the play wasnt executed as drawn up?  What experience does a teenager have in last second situations?  Let me give you another clue.  The game is not won or lost in the last few seconds but rather how things were handled the entire game.  I dont blame you  for not wanting to talk basketball anymore because your theory has less credibility than the national debt theory.

Big Girl- PLease ask Kenyon how well it worked out in the regional finals one year against Hempstead when the coach asked him what he thought out to be done.    Additionally, ask Jarvis who drew up the play that won the game in the last seconds against Navasota to enable HJ to get to the regional tourney.
