BlackShirts5 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 10-6. They wont be as bad as last year. Unproven but WAY better coach. Quote
king Posted July 18, 2014 Author Report Posted July 18, 2014 6-10. Picksixfitzpatrick will cost them games. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Fitz wont play as bad as we expect. Quote
OldTimer Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 ^^^^^ I'm going with 8 - 8 and No Playoffs - Still need a QB. mytwocents-28 1 Quote
PAMFAM10 Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 9-7 makes playoffs this was a super bowl contending team before last year. With no chances of Schaub or kubiak getting in the way. If clowney can live up to half the hype they should be lights out front 7 wise. Add in the 2nd easiest schedule. 7-9 floor 10-6 celling Quote
shovel Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 ^^^^^ I'm going with 8 - 8 and No Playoffs - Still need a QB.Stole my thunder OldTimer! I have to agree with you here. I'm hoping they exceed my expectations, but my mind tells me they will match the Cowboys with an 8-8 record. Quote
Uncle Si Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 If Foster is not healthy they will struggle to win 6 games. The defense is absolutely going to have to carry this team. QB position will be less than average and without Foster you have a very inexperienced backfield. Also, I'm not sure AJ's heart is as into it as the years before and I'm afraid this will show. I honestly believe that it could be an 8+ win season but that will hinge on whether or not Foster and Cushing can play the entire season. Quote

PAMFAM10 Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Let's say colts patriots bengals and Denver That leaves ravens steelers chargers Texans cheifs in hunt. 9-7 could make playoffs this year. It's not the NFC Quote
workbootz Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 11-5 or 10-6 at worst will get in!!! Quote
PAMFAM10 Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 11-5 or 10-6 at worst will get in!!! Yes in nfc. You do no most wildcard teams are 9-7 10-6. Quote
LocknLoad Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Under.... 4 wins will be a stretch IMO... Quote
shovel Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I know last night was preseason, but WOW! The Texans looked as bad as they did last year. If they dont start firing on all cylinders soon, I dont see myself wasting time watching the Texans get beat every week. Fitz is looking like the wrong answer to a long-standing problem. Again, I know its preseason, but right now, I'm not optomistic at all. Quote
SKINS Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Clowney looked good off the line though Quote
STiger85 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Don't know what you had till it's gone. Clowney was 50/50 but he has a lot of up side. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 After last night, wow! The texans are in for a long year. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Real bad, Michael Jackson. Yikes! Quote
badndn Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Ugh! Secondary SUX. Harris needs to be cut. Fitz looked atrocious. Maybe plan was to bomb in 2014 again and get Mariotta or Winston. Seems to be working for the Astros each year!!!!! Cant imagine Dre was too thrilled watching this crap. Quote
longball24 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Wish we had the oilers back. At least Bud Adams drafted the Texas Kids and made things interesting. Time to fire Rick Smith and sell the team to Red Mccombs. Quote

This team is more than one player away from being competitive (and that guy would not have helped anyway). Quote

As far as Rick Smith, well, he can go to Tennessee too! Quote
longball24 Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Ol Bud may have stuck it to Harris County I wont argue that fact, but he did draft lots of Texas kids. good or bad he carried a lot of Texas with him. Mcnair is from SC and has shown very little interest in Texas Athleletes. Texas has the best athletes in the nation, in every major sport. Yes, He that shall not be named is one of those Texas kids. All Texas fans should should be ashamed of seeing such a prized athlete leave the state. Like him or not he is what you call a difference maker. Quote
badndn Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Its the NFL. You don't draft kids because they from around the way and they grew up with Pookie an RayRay an dem. i'll take 53 guys from Saskatchewan if they are legit. Quote
