Is this confirmed because he should be? If he can put the basketball program on the map, then he should put the football program on the map, too! If he were name AD/head football coach, will he still coach basketball or will he find someone else to do it?

Prolly both this year then hire a basketball next year.. Yes he is the best choice but Kountze was already on the map for basketball lol but yes he is a great coach.

Should have been offered the AD Football coaching position a long time ago. This guy knows the game unlike anything you have ever seen. He tore it up in HJ in the early 90's and then played for West Texas A&M and also with the CFL for a couple seasons. One of the greatest people I have ever personally met. He did basketball for a long time and took less money. He'll rack up a lot of wins at Kountze, if this happens.
