adminbaberuth Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Bears What, no respect for PNG this Friday? I see Griff threw Elhert tonight or was this just a bullpen and he will be ready for Friday?
rhino1877 Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 From the looks of it they won't need Ehlert to win........PNG is having some problems with the sticks, but you can never under estimate Coach Stone. And Ehlert only threw two innings and prolly about 25 pitches.
Bears Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Last year Ehlert was set-up on a Tuesday rotation during District, that being said you do not win a district with one pitcher. Womack has been strong this year as has Dugas,Adams and Cassidy. All of the above throw strikes and can win against any team if that happens with our defense. As far as PNG or your beloved Bulldogs who knows who pitches, but the way the offense is going and our defense is playing???????
adminbaberuth Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Your right Bears, the way LCM is swinging the bat right now it might not matter who else throws against them. Couple of surprises in the 1st district games. PNG cannot depend on striking out 14 and scratching only 2 runs. Ozen looks like they can compete, with a few more players stepping up, look out. Nederland bats kind of went cold with a 7-0 victory over Central. This Friday should give us a look on how the district will shape up as LCM and PNG will tangle.
