TROJANSWIN Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 How long till Obama and Holder sue Texas for discriminating against the rights of Nancy Pelosi's "american citizens" crossing the border? Quote
smitty Posted July 22, 2014 Author Report Posted July 22, 2014 True, but what took him so long? True! But, we would still be waiting on obama! Quote

LumRaiderFan Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 I'll take Perry over Obama any day. Quote
stevenash Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 I find attempts at leadership to be vastly superior when compared to the banality of platitudes. Quote
smitty Posted July 23, 2014 Author Report Posted July 23, 2014 Rick Perry - a real leader only Smitty could be proud of! Your guy fiddles while Rome burns! Quote
new tobie Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 Maybe slick rick will make another unsuccessful bid for the white house. hopefully with sarah palin or ted cruz for a running mate! Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 Yeah, we sure wouldn't want the U.S. to run like Texas... much better to elect Hillary and continue down the path we're on. Quote
loopy Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 I am sure all of the perry supporters on here are aware that he did have the authority to deploy national guard and by doing so, texas will now have to pay for all of the salaries and other cost associated with the guard being deployed relieving the federal government of this responsibility. It will cost texas 12 million a month. Needless to say, while they are standing on the border, they do not have the authority to arrest anyone. so basically they stand there while texas waste money on them. I also find it interesting that Obama has deported more illegals per year (though down this year) than others in years past. Trufan 1 Quote
stevenash Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 More deportations than others in years past? I guess that is possible. However, it doesn't mean that much if more are coming in than in years past, does it? I would further suggest to you that the cost that Texas may endure will be considerably less than the cost of taking care of everyone that wants to come here. Also Loopy, do you believe that everyone coming in are all poor little innocent children? Quote

Big girl Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 What will the National Guard do? , they cant do anything to the kids. Perry is grandstanding. Quote
stevenash Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Maybe Perry is trying to show some leadership in this circumstance, unlike some who refuse to get involved. Quote

smitty Posted July 24, 2014 Author Report Posted July 24, 2014 Leadership that costs 12 million/mo BigGirl, what, are you a born again fiscal conservative?! ;) Quote
CraigS Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Leadership that costs 12 million/mo Obama's "lack of leadership" is costing at minimum $30M/mo you don't whine about that. Must be more of that low information stuff! 50,000 (illegals) X $20/day = $1,000,000/day $1,000,000 x 30 (days) = $30,000,000/mo With 50K ILLEGAL ALIENS and it were to only cost $20 per day per ILLEGAL, to house, feed, and medicate (see how low my $20 per day figure is) not even counting the salaries, electric bills, gas bill, etc..that would be $1M per DAY..($30M per month)...which is Obama's "leadership plan" AND GROWING....but you want to complain about $12M per MONTH that would ultimately lower the cost if we can stop/slow down/or even return them.
