H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 Hull-Daisetta has two burners in the backfield. Sedric DeBlanc and Martin Doucet. Both kids are track standouts. Martin Doucet ran a 10.56 in the 100 last season, Sedric is close to that speed. Quote

He is a good young man and I wish him and his team much success. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 Kountze...Jace Waren...4.5 in the forty, great acceleration, big at 220 and very strong JR 2016 grad. Can run east and west then effectively get north and south quickly. He will break tackles and can flat run u over. Will be even more effective with Grayland Arnold in the O-backfield as a QB. Grayland can keep the ball and run or throw on the run. Have to include him as a back because of the number of times he will run the ball. Quote
fwoodfan Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 Friendswood's Sam Longbotham has to at least be in the discussion. He isnt blazing fast, but he gets to the hole fast, has great down field vision, makes kids take bad angles, has a little wiggle, and punishes DBs who dont love tackling. He will get a ton of touches as a runner and with our screen passing game will catch the ball in space with regularity. He wont lead the district in rushing yards or recieving, but will be up their in total yards. Quote
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Sedric DeBlanc will be able to run inside and outside. If Martin or Sedric get outside they are taking it to the house. Bighornet 1 Quote
Periballo77 Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 I know that Brenham is on the fringe of the SETX coverage area, but we are discussed here often enough to throw our name in. Earnest Patterson has to be on any list in this area of best RBs. He is in for another monster year and with the QB back, teams will have to respect the passing game after the way he threw in the playoffs last year. That respect for the passing game should open the lanes for him even more with teams not being able to stack the box. JMO BellBiz30 1 Quote
