If you qualify for the World Series Babe Ruth flies all teams at no cost to the league. It will be a great experience for these kids. Not bad for $100-$150 initial league fee.

Any donations to help Nederland Babe Ruth 13s out will be greatly appreciated.Even though the $190 league fee aint bad,it cost quite a bit of $$ to travel for state and regional tournament 7 hours away for 6 days.

Two base running mistakes by Mid County hurt when they were up. Then the 5th inning for VA, small ball and hits, then untimely errors by Mid County. Hope they bounce back tomorrow.

Nederland must win 2 out of the next 3 to have a chance to get to the single elimination championship bracket. They won 6 in a row in the regionals so they have proven they can do it.

3 wins gets them into pool play for sure. 2 wins and they will need some help. Head to head is the tiebreaker if 2 teams are tied, and runs allowed if it is 3 teams. They need to win and allow as few runs as possible so they can get out of their pool.
