NorthoftheBorder Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Although it was good to see my favorite player Mickelson in the hunt late on Sunday, and to see Fowler make another serious run at a major this year, we have to look seriously at whether the era of Tiger has passed and and Rory McIlroy is the next big thing in golf. Who has thoughts on who will dominate the Pro Tour for the near future? And besides sometimes you just get weary of doing battle on the politico board and would like a non confrontational discussion!! inetryconydot 1 Quote
baddog Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Rory is the real deal. Mickelson just didn't make the shots when he had opportunity.....Rory did. In fact, that second shot on the par 5 leaving him an 8 footer for eagle was the writing on the wall. Tiger is a has-been. If he doesn't play well, his back starts hurting and he withdraws. Quote
htownfan Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Rory is playing some unreal golf as of late... Also, guys like Ricky Fowler, Jason Day, and Jordan Spieth should win a major or two in the next couple of years. Personally, the field of golfers as a whole are better than any field has possibly ever been. Quote
