stevenash Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 Once again, TxHoops, it is an insult to the King for you to make a statement that involves a question mark . Quote
Big girl Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 Once again, TxHoops, it is an insult to the King for you to make a statement that involves a question mark . is that the only response you could think of? Quote
stevenash Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 No, I have several others but I am trying to stay respectful. Quote
EnlightenedChosenOne Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 On a scale of 1-10 I'd give him a 5, right at the median. He was dealt a pretty crappy hand with the economy losing 800,000 jobs a month right before he took over. Some people here think you can snap your fingers and all of a sudden make the economy instantly rebound from the greatest recession since the Great Depression. I support his pro gay marriage stuff but not his Trayvon Martin/St. Louis comments. Quote
stevenash Posted August 13, 2014 Report Posted August 13, 2014 He has done a fabulous job on the economy. I still remember that campaign speech in which he said, elect me and the debt will be cut in half at the end of my first term. Elect me and unemployment will be at 5.5% at the end of my first term. Not quite but who is going to quibble over 12 trillion ( that's the 7 trillion added and the 5 trillion that was going to be cut). This is the most buoyant and productive economic recovery I have ever witnessed. This is absolute proof that raising taxes in the midst of a recession is the most effective way out of a recession.
