In quarter play Jasper scored 2 td and lee 0
Defense dominated lee but it is Baytown lee they where big but not very good jmo

It's good to see that we played well at every level against a struggling program, especially defensively. Coldspring will be a better indicator next week and I would like to see aggressive, disciplined football going into Week 1.

Bulldogs1990, did Lee stay on the ground or go to the air a lot.  I hear they are using a different QB and last year's QB is a RB along with another bigger soph RB.  Last year they could put up 28+ points per game but defense was swiss cheese.  Sounds like the defense is still swiss...I've never seen Jasper play before.  Are they a ground or air team?

Rockz they gonna be more of a pound the football type but they can throw also prolly a 70% run and 30% throwing the ball we have more speed this year than we have had in 5 years

Sounds like old-school Jasper football to me. Move the chains, make a few big plays on offense and hopefully play some good defense.
