MAYFIELD Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Crosby team with the twins was the greatest show on turf part2. With a lil more than a week away what are you thinking? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I stand by my previous prediction of 49-39 Crosby. Not as close as the score indicates. Quote
Bigdog Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Well, with the conflicting reports from Crosby's scrimmage I will wait and see after the second scrimmages, although it sounds like Nederland looked pretty good so far. Need to clean up the penalties and turnovers though. Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 one of their coaches just messaged me, he told me it was 5-1 Crosby in the scrimmage. and a Huffman coach messaged me, saying it was 2-1 Crosby. I also was sent a pm from a coach of another school who attended and stated it was 2-1 Crosby. Quote

mighymouse490 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 remember guys NO SCRIMMAGES COUNT!! lol crosby 31-21 Quote
El Guapo Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I dont know much about Crosby this year. Nederland has scrimmaged WOS which never does well in scrimmages so it would be hard for me to say. Quote
Daytonfan09 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Too early to tell, could go either way in my opinion. No favorite here Quote
bronco pride Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 Too early to tell, could go either way in my opinion. No favorite herei agree. Quote
jake94 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 One popular poster on the board states Nederland has no chance due to the geographical location of the Trinity River. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything unless the Dogs plan to arrive by boat. Nonetheless, Crosby does usually have very good speed and a dynamic offense and will he a tough early season challenge much like Dayton and Clear Lake will be as well. Quote
Proud Dawg Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 It's all about the match ups. Won't know till first snap. I hope nederland can win but crosby is athletic. I can't help but think like without the twins just won't be as fun in crosby. Quote
mighymouse490 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 clear lake IS NOT a challange. Quote
cougar14 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 It's all about the match ups. Won't know till first snap. I hope nederland can win but crosby is athletic. I can't help but think like without the twins just won't be as fun in crosby. I was thinking the same thing when Kellen Haynes threw for over 4000 yards and Phillip Beck had 124 receptions for over 2000 yards, they went to North Texas and La. Tech. Then along came Dominic Merka and Chance Casey who started as a freshman rb on varsity much like is the case now, they went to TCU and Baylor respectively. Then along came the Twins and Singleton who continued to throw up sick numbers. Now for the next two years Crosby will put their deepest teams in the last 20 years on the field. I'm personally expecting life with Tristen Cotton, Keenan Murphy, Shane Hudson and Craig Williams to be even more fun. AthleticSupporter - Jock 1 Quote
CS. Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 I'd have to go with Nederland in this one. I'll call Nederland 40 - Crosby 29 Quote
AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 I never like to agree with cougar14, lol, but i have to on this one. Nederland is rebuilding and Crosby has the athletic advantage. I'm pulling for Nederland but Crosby takes this one. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 For the puppies sake I hope Seay doesn't get ran into the ground (overused) or gets injured. Quote
Brubaker Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 You been outta the loop on the puppies Buddy, they are in EXTREMELY good hands with their back-up QB. AthleticSupporter - Jock and bigned85 2 Quote
Proud Dawg Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 Sounds like we don't need to show up. That's why they play em. Stranger things have happened then crosby losing to nederland. I know coug14 will prolly have a heart attack though FutureDog and bigned85 2 Quote
