aeropro7 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Carnley and Word are a solid doubles team. But about a month and half ago, Carley and Word got beat by 2 super champs 7-5, 6-2. One of the super champs is going into 9th grade and the other is going into 10th.
sum_1 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 well that is something you couldnt do huh bug?? didnt scott beat u like 8-1??
athlete5 Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 Carnley and Word are a solid doubles team. But about a month and half ago, Carley and Word got beat by 2 super champs 7-5, 6-2. One of the super champs is going into 9th grade and the other is going into 10th. yes that is true...but scott was only a zatt player & tyler has only played in one zatt tournament, but that dont matter because tyler isn't playing next year. but i truly think scott can beat any of the overrated kelly kids. the only person he probably cant beat next year is deaver, but other than that he'll do just fine.
aeropro7 Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 well that is something you couldnt do huh bug?? didnt scott beat u like 8-1??Dude what are you talkin about? I have never played Scott. Ask him.
BABOLAT2 Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 Scott did play Bug in like one of those stupid grand prix tournaments where like you play a total of 7 games. It was stupid and that was when Bug just started playing tennis. He had not been playing very long, but Bug has become a very great player in short period of time. He was a 14 super and now is a 16 champ and I will thinkg he will do exceptionally well.Â
aeropro7 Posted July 15, 2007 Report Posted July 15, 2007 thank you. that grand prix was when i was 12 and just started playing. i dont think i had even played a zat yet. players improve.
athlete5 Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 thank you. that grand prix was when i was 12 and just started playing. i dont think i had even played a zat yet. players improve.so that was this year then 8)

Primetime0187 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Barbers Hill Used to Be a strong team but compared to the rest of the teams this year barbers hill will be a joke unless they got some move ins i dont know about
ilikecupcakes Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 umm... kville has won district FOREVER... check the banner the next time ur in kirbyville... same thing for this year too
aeropro7 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 I know everyone hates kelly cause you think we are all just spoiled rich kids, but Kelly has a very solid team this year. Clement Wehner and Kenton Boone are in champ 18s and Bug is about to make super 16s. Everyone else on the team is playing USTA ZATs and we have a kid on the verge of champ 16s.
kville_extreme Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 kelly is pretty solid, that's a fact. but that bug kid has a temper that'll get him down. i've watched him play at tournaments against friends of mine last year and he got pretty hot about little things.

Nederland and Kelly are probably the best in the area.
SLandry09 Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I think Kelly definately has the best team.
BABOLAT2 Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I would have to agree that Kelly has the deepest line-up of kids, with 2 champ 18's and 1 champ 16, but after that, pretty much no one
sunshine Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Not sure but i heard of a doubles team from HJ that is just forming this year. might be a contender
BABOLAT2 Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 None of the doubles teams around here this year could never touch the two doubles teams of last years. Not trying to be rude. Hopefully the team from HJ does good though.
Nostradevus Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Just to let GoatHerder know Matthew Deaver just won a tournament in Pasadena, straight sets all matches.
jake94 Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Just to let GoatHerder know Matthew Deaver just won a tournament in Pasadena, straight sets all matches. That's great to hear! I have been playing quite a bit with him for the last month and he is hitting the ball well. Straight sets in all his matches. That is very impressive. Does this put him in super 18's? Matthew is a great kid and comes from a good family.
