This is really disappointing in considering that this was the Strong Era's first game!

I wonder how many of those 8,000 missing fans felt like they contributed to the loss?

ZERO

The last season opening loss was in 1999 against NC State. It was a sellout.

Yes,

and it was special teams breakdown that allowed NC State to pull the win out of a hat.

It was the last time that a Mack Brown team had bad special teams.

He started using the "12 man" idea, but the players revolted.

What was the crowd like Sat. Nite?

Isn't 93000 people good?

Yes it is. It's is also more people than have ever attended a game at A&M, that is until this Saturday when the new stadium opens.

I think the issue is that when teams hire a new coach the program is usually full of energy and excitement. This hasn't happened with Charlie yet.

This has not been an issue to any Longhorn poster.

Only an issue with Aggies.

8,000 empty seats and we still won.

Why would you ever need the "12th man"?
