LuvThoseCats Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Big game for both teams. Who will pull off the win? I say Orangefield in a close one. Both teams are playing very good right now. Orangefield has to contain Kellum, not an easy task!
bball_fan Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 um i think kville in this one.....i havent seen ne one yet that can hold kellum....she can play ne where on the court...when she post up she's unstoppable
CraigS Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Orangefield is very solid, I enjoyed seeing them play in Silsbee last week! Thye should win this one, but don't overlook K'ville they can obviously play, and this is at their gym......good luck to both teams!I know Silsbee and OF are tied where are the others in the standings? Does K'ville have the inside track on WOS?
LuvThoseCats Posted January 22, 2007 Author Report Posted January 22, 2007 Kirbyville took sole possession of 3rd place by defeating WO-S Friday night. I believe the score was 70-64.

bball_fan Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Kirbyville took sole possession of 3rd place by defeating WO-S Friday night. I believe the score was 70-64.Kville won 70-54
LuvThoseCats Posted January 22, 2007 Author Report Posted January 22, 2007 Kville won 70-54Sorry, looked at header of thread which was incorrect.
LadyTigers_BALLIN Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 ::)Let's see.Hmm.I honestly think Orangefield will grab it.They play like a team and play to win.I've watched them twice, them girls are good, they do not give up no matter how far they are losing or winning, they play from beginning to end.So yes, I say OF has it..Maybe by a good 7 points?
lsu_fan_07 Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 well the last time that kville played OF, they played @ OF, and only lost by 2 points, so when them BOB cats come to WILDCAT COUNTRY, they'll see wat kville is all about!!
LuvThoseCats Posted January 23, 2007 Author Report Posted January 23, 2007 well the last time that kville played OF, they played @ OF, and only lost by 2 points, so when them BOB cats come to WILDCAT COUNTRY, they'll see wat kville is all about!!Yes it was only a 2 point game but that was a while back and Orangefield is playing much better now. It will be close and no one underestimates Kirbyville. I think the difference will be how well OF contains Kellum. One of Orangefield's strengths is their team play. If one player is covered too closely and can't score, everyone else (including the bench) is capable of stepping up and having an awesome game. Whatever the outcome, it will be a great game to watch.
bball_fan Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 i doubt if they contain Kellum it hasn't been done this year...she's just to good.
Guest bleed orange Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Is Denetra a junior or a senior? The only reason I ask is because someone told me she is a junior and I thought she was a senior.
scoobydoo Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 i doubt if they contain Kellum it hasn't been done this year...she's just to good. They don't have to shut her down, no one is saying that is possible. They just have to SLOW her down and Orangefield is talented enough to do that. Doesn't Kellum score about half Kirbyville's points each game?
Gabe Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Just got the OK, Im headed to Kirbyville here shortly! Had to pull some strings on this one!
bobcatmom Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Thanks Gabe for all the nice input for Orangefield. I believe you have made bobcat status as of now
Gabe Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Dont tell the people in Port Neches-Groves!! Or Im a dead man
AshlyHasBeen Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 So you're a Bobcat, I'm sending out a mass email. I would start packing now, lol. Seriously I just left Orangefield, Kristy Sanders is our Athlete of the Week.
Gabe Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 See, I knew I was in trouble!Cant get any better of a pick than her! She had a great week last week and is on pace to do it again this one.
AshlyHasBeen Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I've said before and I'll say it again Kristy Sanders is my favorite girls player in the are. Gabe it's ok I'm on the bandwagon let's go Lady Bobcats. Maybe we can bring some of that PN-G spirit over there.
bobcatmom Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Dont tell the people in Port Neches-Groves!! Or Im a dead manNo way....if we were both in the same district then maybe you would have to watch your back (lol) but both teams can come out on top so you just have to split your time.
