I realize it's very early in the season to say this, but I think this game may decide the SEC East. South Carolina will want redemption from the A&M game and it's at home, but Georgia has two weeks to prepare. I think Georgia keeps their roll alive and wins by 10+.

While I hope SC can beat Georgia - as that would do nothing but put a brighter spotlight on the Aggie's - I think Georgia wins fairly easily.

Old Timer, you think Spurrier can rebound after that embarrassing loss to Ags? Is Georgia that good, is SC that bad? Pollsters think so because they dropped out of sight, but I happen to be One of the few that like Spurrier and think he will have his team prepared. If Georgia is that good then they should have leap frogged #1 or #2 who should have dropped.

From what I saw in the first game Georgia is the better team - but I agree you can never count out a Spurrier lead team.  But still think that Georgia is  the better team at this time.

 

But will also hedge my bet until I see how the SC and ECU game goes this weekend.

We shall see next wk. Dawgs have this wk. off to prepare for USC which is a big plus. I'm taking the Old Ball Coach & USC in this game though. My reason & opinion is I really don't think Clemson was as advertised and I don't see the Gamecocks taking another L at home this quick.

Other than knowing their backs are against the wall, why would the SC team that plays Georgia be any different than the one that played against A&M last week. The Aggies hope SC will win this one but I'm certain Richt will have his GA team ready to roll.
