It's BS that Muschamp and Florida rained out their game with Idaho and are not making it up. Both teams share a bye week, so the hand could easily be played. The problem Florida had is that it would put them playing 9 weeks in a row. Man up and play football!

But you forgot that UF would have to pay $$$ to Idaho. I'm sure the rainout save the gators a bundle. I would think that the sec woud pony up some cash to help them maintain their National Conference Championship asperations.

Florida is paying them $975k to go away. It just sets a bad precedent that some teams only play 11 games. What if this was Clemson-Georgia or some other big game. The teams could just rain it out and not risk a loss and have a better record for the playoff.

A&M's 1st scheduled game in 2012 against La Tech was cancelled due to a hurricane. They played it later in the season during their bye week. That put A&M playing 12 weeks in a row in their 1st season in the SEC. Florida needs to man up and play the game or not be eligible for postseason play.

NCAA will have a hard time trying to work that punishment out. I guess that you are concerned about UF being good enough for the final 4.

No not at all. More concerned with the excuse they used of having to play 9 weeks in a row and the precedent it sets.

I remember something about that. Players were "suspended" for the teams first game. Game cancelled, so players got to play the games. I might be wrong, I'm sure aggie will correct me real fast. That set "you're in the sec now, make your own rules" precedent.
