skipper Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 hope coach T and his staff can bring there kids to earth after a big win friday Quote
CoachV Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 I'm a bulldog fan and I compare how they have started off this season to last year. Lost first game, but then got things in order and became a hard team to bet against. With that being said I believe Jasper will continue to get better as the year progresses, but with them playing WOS so early in season I see WOS winning. I hope I'm wrong and I have complete faith in Barbay with this team, but I see WOS winning by 10. Quote
stangx2 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Jasper vs. WOS is ALWAYS one of those games that is a slugfest. Would not expect anything less than that this time around either. Any coach named Barbay has a tough team to beat. skipper 1 Quote
wo-s#1 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Lots has happened to wos this year,I believe the entire program is ready to progress even more.wos by at least 2 scores Grinding 1 Quote

JacksonslaDe05 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 I don't see WOS having a hang over against Jasper following the big win Friday night against PNG. Cornell and the staff have a decision to make asas far as the qb position is concerned, but whomever they choose WOS will be fine. Johnson and Dallas appear capable of leading this team deep into the playoffs. WOS 37-Bulldogs 13 Quote

chukslegacy Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 WOS too much for Jasper team who lost too many valuable players last year. WOS by 3 tds Quote
skipper Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 coach T and his staff have there work cut out for them this week and it starts with the mustangs DBs. pn-g made it look easy at times agnest what some people have said ONE of the DB S IN THE STATE but pn-g showed how easy it was JMO Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Jasper won this old rivalry game, its ol' fashioned hate in this one. WOS by 13 Quote

Dont get me wrong, Thompson can cover with the best, but WOS DBs had more success in second half because that DLine was relentless. That said. I think Jasper is in trouble in this years matchup. Trufan Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 coach T and his staff have there work cut out for them this week and it starts with the mustangs DBs. pn-g made it look easy at times agnest what some people have said ONE of the DB S IN THE STATE but pn-g showed how easy it was JMO WOS helped PNG out by playing a soft zone. with todays offenses and all the 7 on 7 work the kids get its hard to play zone. All PNG did was come off the line and set down in the open spot. once WOS went to man it disrupted the rithem. WOS did the same thing against Ennis in 2000. soft zone in the first half and in your face man the second half. the only difference is Ennis had better speed. Quote
Guest Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Great tradition involved in this one and I can promise that we will see the best from both teams. Gonna be a great one to watch but I gota say my Mustangs come out on top!! Quote
magnus1on1 Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 I was at the Vidor and Jasper game and let me tell you Vidor gave Jasper a good run for their money and Vidor prob would have won that game if they had less penalties. Jasper has some size and a couple of guys are pretty quick but I think Vidor did a good job with the speed. Vidor is pretty small but quick to the ball like WOS will be. If WOS controls the turnovers they have this one by at least 14. Watch the te dump pass to numer 88 for Jasper i think that's his number he's the tallest kid on the team. Quote
Guest Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Yes sir that guy #88 is tall and fast! They will try and hit that several times this week. Very good play and we need to be careful of that one! Quote
bedelmon Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Jasper by a half a hundred :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D...... Quote
bedelmon Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Seriously, Jasper aint bad..... 42-28 WOS...WOS has some really good defensive backs.... Quote
skipper Posted September 8, 2014 Author Report Posted September 8, 2014 as dan hooks has always said when you go to jasper get ready for a battle Quote

Still want to forget that Ennis game, the first half was as brutal as could be against us. One game we should have won. Quote
magnus1on1 Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Don't think WOS will let Jasper score 28.. maybe 14.. Also don't think Jasper will let WOS score 42.. I think it's going to be more like 28-14 or something like that. Quote
