Guest ECBucFan Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Cowboys powered up in Nebraska and ALMOST beat them! McNeese had them tied 24-24 with 20 sec. left in the game. Neb scored on a breakaway run from midfield to escape. McNeese outplayed them for all but 20 sec. Quote

NorthoftheBorder Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 I think the combination of Pellini and the move to the Big Ten (took Nebraska out of their recruiting base) has taken its toll on Big Red!! Quote

I would agree a little bit. We have some good freshman and soph players. My thing is our play calling on offense. Terrible. Quote
king Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 Miami vs Nebraska game got moved from the College Game Day prime time ABC slot to ESPN2. Quote
whatnamecanipick Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 CFB Daily is butchering the BIG today. They will be left out of the playoff. Quote

Guest ECBucFan Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Too bad the media and everyone else is writing this off as "well Nebraska didn't play their best". What is overlooked is that the McNeese Cowboys TOOK IT TO THEM... IN LINCOLN. My only regret is that McNeese couldn't have saved this game for SELA or Sam, or a potential first round opponent. Geaux Cowboys! B) Quote

But we did what was needed in the in to come away with a W. Quote
