PhatMack19
It's all Mack's Fault! Strong has no talent is all we keep hearing. shovel
I hate to jump in the middle of an Aggie-Texas fued, but since I'm not that smart, I will anyway. There were NO UT players drafted into the NFL, so you cant say a lot of talent left. I believe in Coach Strong, but he better make hay while the sun is shining! I bought a hunting dog with certified AKC papers and a hunting champion bloodline. Pick of the litter. My trainer chose not to train him and never reprimanded him we he did bad things. Now, for some reason, he is not a very good hunting dog despite his lineage. So I had to hire a new trainer. Hopefully he will do what is needed to get that dog to hunt. Someday the really smart Texas Aggies will figure out that NC's are not just won in February (recruiting is one part) and you still have to develop the talent. PM ask Ropher for help. #SPCFBG

baddog
Fran and Sherman had years to develop theirs. People think just because you hire a good coach and supply him with some decent talent that it adds up to wins. I can't believe how naive some of the posters on this board are. It takes chemistry and everything must fall into place. Ags were fortunate after several hard tries to find a suitable coach. Well, they got theirs and the talent was there and everything clicked. Some take longer to develop. You guys really kill me with your constant badgering of Strong. whatnamecanipick

TxHoops
In truth, you can't really blame our Aggie friends. They have been Texas' b**%h for close to a decade and a half and now have a program to be excited about. Eventually, either way, the worm turns. Coaches leave, get complacent, have bad things happen within the program. We are living proof of how quickly things can change. An injured QB away from a 2nd MNC in 4 years, to an 8 loss season the next. Sh** happens. I think they absolutely should enjoy it. These are exciting times for A&M football and, whether they get to the top of the mountain or not, they are in the race. It's been a while since that was the case. If I were them, I would have my chest bowed out too. I just hope we are on the right path to righting the ship. I am hopeful, but not overly confident. He took over a 3-9 team and in his 1st year they finished 12-2 ranked #2 in the country and nearly won a national title. I guess some purges take longer than others.
