My logic is if you go for 2 then your either down 7 if you make it or down 9 if you don't...I your down 9 you know you need 2 scores no matter what so there is a sense of urgency. If you take the XP and make it a 8 point game, then score a TD but miss the 2 you may have wasted too much time because you feel you only need one score
