Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 I sat there in Nederland and watched players talk to Stew and not say a word to Hancock all game long. That tells me alot. Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 See there? If he wasn't on the sidelines, the players would probably be more focused on the HC. Quote
Daytonfan9210 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 How about we just end this dispute that won't get anyone anywhere. Stewart will stand or sit wherever he wants nothing that anyone says will change that. Let's forget about last week and worry about this week and weeks to come. And not worry about where Stewart is at. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 See there? If he wasn't on the sidelines, the players would probably be more focused on the HC. Or they wouldn't. Stewart being on the sideline isn't stopping them from talking to the hc. And him leaving won't make them start talking to him. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 The same thing than any AD's job entails. And it's not roaming the sidelines talking to coaches and interacting with players during game time. How do you know it's the same thing as any AD job entails?? Have you read Stewarts contract? Quote

BMTSoulja1 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 No they wouldn'tWell, maybe tje great Stewart made a mistake and brought in the wrong guy. Easy solution. When the season ends, then bring in the right guy that the kids will listen to and respect as if they were himself (Stewart) Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Or they wouldn't. Stewart being on the sideline isn't stopping them from talking to the hc. And him leaving won't make them start talking to him. It's really common sense... if the 'Distraction' is eliminated, then the kids can focus on what the actual hired coach instructs them to do amd have them focused on what he only tells them. BMTSoulja1 Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 I will only worry when he's not on the sidelines... Makes no sense. But hey, who am I? Smh Quote

I ask this because I do not know and to your comment about the underpaid Dayton coaching staff. Seems an AD/HC combo could help in paying the assistants more money. Quote
