HUM398
This, like most games will come down to turnovers. That will determine the scope of how close this game is. Humble has done a very good job the last three game of creating turnovers, But the Humble Offense has done a pretty good job of turning over the ball themselves. If Crosby is mistake free, and Humble sloppy on offense...then this will get ugly really fast. If Humble can win the turnover margin, this game is close . Not sure if its enough to win, but certainly enough to give them a shot. Mr. Buddy Garrity
Northern Lights
I believe Crosby is the best team Nederland has played so far. We have been in self destruct mode the past couple of weeks. If the Crosby D that came out the second half of the Nederland game can play 4 quarters like that I like there chances not just in this game but to maybe make some noise in the playoffs. The one weak spot I thought I saw was the QB position but he may be improving each week. Also it may not have been all his fault the passing game was off. Thanks for sharing this. Nederland fans seem to be the most level-headed on this board.
AggiesAreWe
From DCTF: Crosby (3-0) at Humble (3-0) It’s a pretty quiet Thursday night out in the Houston-area. Think of it as the calm before the Friday storm of highly anticipated games. But there is one matchup you should head out to — Crosby at Humble in the district 21-5A opener. We expected Crosby to contend for the district title at the beginning of the season, and nothing has changed. The Cougars are off to an impressive 3-0 start and are coming off a 30-7 dismantling of Barbers Hill. Despite the loss of the Walter brothers, Crosby has been able to light up the scoreboard thanks to weapons like wide receiver Trevor Larkin. But Humble has home field advantage and a defense that packs a Mike Tyson-like punch. The Wildcats, who are undefeated, are giving up just 8.7 points per game. Crosby should be aware of free safety Kyle Floyd and linebacker Johnny Bolden. The question is can the offense do enough against Code Red. We’re not too sure. EJ’s pick: Crosby 23, Humble

HurricaneCal
Nah, cougar fans will still be on here either way. Oh, yeah Crosby has had some D 1 talent , has several kids now that are getting offers, but it's the kids that are in the program that wouldn't be because of the coaches that are there now. Summer work out program used to be just football players, now it's full of kids that play all sports, boys and girls. Hopefully your football tradition rich school has the same.
