adminbaberuth Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Maybe we can get a few post from the baseball crowd on Friday's big game against a couple of state ranked teams. If Alvis and Angelle throw this Friday this could be a sneek preview of playoff action.
Bobcatfan4life Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 I don't think it will be that high scoring. BC wins 3-1.
KFDM COOP Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 You may be right with two good Pitchers throwing. 5-3 BC.
SilsbeeD Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 will be a low scoring game, jasper's bats will have to be on in order to win.
jdawg03 Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Jasper 4 Bridge City 1 The Dawgs won't be scared of Angelle...bet on that...theyve seen Belt and Elhert already
uniden Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 No doubt its going to be tough, but Ive heard that BC might split up the pitching since the district opener is on Tuesday.
Bears Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 According to the Web site Coach Bryant uses to let scouts know when Kevin will pitch he is not scheduled this week at all.....
Bears Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Not sure of the site, just know from talking to a scout that he is a member of a group created and e-mails are sent to notify the scouts.
adminbaberuth Posted March 16, 2006 Author Report Posted March 16, 2006 According to the Web site Coach Bryant uses to let scouts know when Kevin will pitch he is not scheduled this week at all..... You might be right, Bear. Looking at the schedule Bridge City does open up with district Tuesday with Orangefield. With Jasper, Alvis might pitch since they start district on the 28th. No matter who pitches this should be a nice game.
Guest Orangeboy Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I think Jasper wins in a 4-3 game. At this point in the year the offenses start rolling, and Jasper surely has the better offense. I agree seeing Belt earlier this year helps the Dogs out, while Bryant has done very little to get his kids seeing good pitching.
bigred75 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I agree ya got to play up in non district, I am not a proponent of playing 2a and 3a teams, if you are already 3a. Not sure what the outcome of this game will be but it should be a good game to watch.
hj27 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 i guess if angelle is going to pitch against Jasper, then they are saving him for orangefield in the district opener.
bigred75 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I would imagine, this game has nothing but bragging rights on it. Why not save him for the district.
Guest Sports Cards Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 This should be a good one... Gilbert should be able to handle Angelle, other than that, I don't see the Bulldog hitters being very successful against him. If Hart can get on and make some noise around the base path, and Alvis hits how he is capable, then it could be close... but I don't think they will tonight...... I predict BC wins 5-2. Of course, that score is assuming it's Alvis Vs Angelle.... any other pitchers and then theres no telling what may happen.
bigred75 Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 can you say crap shoot............................
Bobcatfan4life Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 I don't think it will be that high scoring. BC wins 3-1. Sometimes I even amaze myself!! Just as I predicted.
