badndn Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Serious Ankle injury nonetheless and those can take weeks to heal. Especially for a wideout who needs those ankles strong to cut. Get well soon Jack. Gonna need you come week 12+ Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Time for McZeal to step up. PN-G bamatex, PNGFan and PNG Proud 3 Quote
NDNation Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 McZeal did good last night. I can see him doing some great things. Good thing is, we have a host of weapons, so teams better not get comfortable double covering him. Seem like Sparks was open quiet a bit last night. Quote
wo-s#1 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Speedy recovery big guy I know what he can do to a secondary .. seen it a few weeks ago Quote
biaplayer Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I'm still trying to figure out why Mczeal was crying on sidelines, we up 40-6 and he was sobbing, scratching my head on that. I know he's only a sophomore but he's got to toughen up, he needs to go into beast mode! Its his time to shine, skies the limit for him, see great things in his future, gotta mature and step it up. HOPING Giblin is ok, looked like he was in a lot of pain. Loosing him hurts for sure. SPARKS is looking sharp. DEFENSE did a decent job tonight, over pursued a couple of plays and got burnt but over all a fine job. READY for district. Quote
badndn Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Just saw a photo of Giblin POST surgery. It aint no sprain. Quote
pngfan66 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Prayers for Giblin. Hope its not a sport ending injury for this young man. Prayer for quick healing. Quote
PNG Proud Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 No breaks. Had surgery yesterday to repair tendons/muscles. Hoping for a qick healing. Anyone have one of those Magic Wand thingies??? Quote
PNGDAD Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Need some Indian medicine man help. Quote
Bigdog Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 would his ankle be fractured because of that? I listened to the Richmond Bone and Joint spot that they have on 97.5 every week discussing RG III. The doc said that a fracture would actually be better because in order to dislocate an ankle, you pretty much have to tear up the ligaments and tendons around it. So it is worse. Quote
NDNation Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 I haven't seen the dislocated ankle confirmed. Do we even know what the injury is? Quote
biaplayer Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Heard he did have surgery will be on crutches 6-8 weeks. So I'm pretty sure he won't be ready till next season, hopefully he will be able to play next year. Not exactly sure if it was ankle, or tendons. Hopefully he will have a successful recovery. Quote
