Were all those starters out against Shepherd? Or is Shepherd just that good? Or is there not much difference between starters and backups?

Kountze is putting up 40+ points with starters out maybe they should stay out.

I was being serious. And on another note..Kashmere played Huffman to within 7. Region 3 may not be as powderpuff as WOS and HJ think.

Against Shepherd we were down 3 and lost 4 during...ie...went into HJ - 7 down and lost another.

Corrigan-Camden's defense is average compared to their offense lol compared to other defenses around, they're above average. Their secondary is suspect, which is why Kountze gained so many yards through the air. But I would venture to say their defense is much better than Kountze's defense as a whole.
And injuries are a part of the game. Stop using them as evidence to support your argument. When you lose, people who are not fans supporting your team are often going to bet against you. Only thing you can do is shut your mouth, let the words slip off your back, and say I told you so when you prove them wrong. Kountze will be fine. I've said many times that they're a good football team with great coaches.

With all due respect it seems like Kountze biggest issue might be the injury problem. The Cats linemen don't mess around and the D has more than a few hard hitters. Diggles, Rawls, Breed just to name a few. Although its part of football it seems extreme having 6 - 10 players hurt at a time. And the fact that every last one of them are somehow healthy at the same time (just in time for district play) seems nothing short of miraculous. I hope all of these Lions are really ready to play and this is a injury free game for all. You can be sure the Kville D is going to be fired up.

Kountze is trying to get healthy while traveling to the Wildcats stadium, where the KATS have had a bye week to focus on the Lions. The KATS will be looking to make a statement @ the start of district. Anything can happen on any given Friday, but I think Neece has em' clicking on Offense, and the Defense will be applying some serious pressure.

Like I stated earlier, I believe Kirbyville is better than CC based on what I have seen with my own eyes this season. CC put 74 on a "injury ravaged" Kountze team. ;)  Kirbyville may not score 74, but I see them scoring 45+ in this game. The Wildcat defense is much better than CC's.

The hope is we are all back, but may still have a couple out. Tailback was out Friday sick... had one receiver/CB out with a hip issue...QB out with a suspect Hand and or wrist...another back / saftey out with a shoulder...LB out with a foot issue...OL/DT out with knee...another receiver/back/CB out with shoulder....all these guys are back in practice. Time will tell on a few others

Hey D-20...we could be Kville's guard and tackle...guard the water bucket and tackle any who tampers with it! On second thought, we might get hurt...pull a hammy or something!

Lets just take the last film and edit and not even show up...I know it was a beat down, but that way we dont even have to change the score...just edit the uniforms! On second thought, might hurt the ole' index finger or even carpal tunnel syndrome!

Three things I got from those highlights:

 

1. Those CC RB's are good.

2. Bulldog O-line dominated Kountze defensive front

3. Lion LB's and DB's are pretty poor tacklers.
