Being a lifetime Longhorn, I have experienced national championships in 1963 and 1969. All though some do count 1970 and 1977.

My favorite moment happened, at Reliant Stadium, in December 2005, at the Big 12 Championship Game. After the game, knowing that my beloved Longhorns, were going to play to the EVIL Trojans from USC for the national championship. I broke down and cried, knowing that I was going to watch the game on TV. USC was the greatest cfb team of all-time, but I knew that my Longhorns would prevail and I that would see another NC trophy being raised by the Longhorns.

Little did I know that another chance would happen in 2009.

I hope that Texas Aggies and their posters get to experience that feeling, at least once.

This moment barely surpasses the 1969 Arkansas game and of course the victories over Texas A&M (but only in my lifetime). LOL

The Red, White, and Blue game after 9/11 was the best sporting event I've ever attended. The emotions that day were indescribable and the pride in our school for pulling that off was awesome. It was definitely sometime I will remember the rest of my life. I came right after bonfire fell, but I'm sure that game would rank right up there for a lot of people.
