TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Heard it was 18-0 SA after 1st quarter. This one might get ugly. Quote
Veritas Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 32-0 SA in the 2nd, or so I was told Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 3 minutes til halftime..38-0 SA Quote
ponderossa Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 44-0 SA at the half. SA Dominating. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Back to reality. The bye week is coming at the right time or so it appears. But then again, garrison is on the schedule next. Quote
ponderossa Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 yea Hemphill is improved just not there yet to compete with teams like SA. Hemphill will have to play best game yet to beat Garrison in district Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I'm afraid the rest of the teams they play this year are gonna be fairly tough. 6 weeks grades are coming out so that might possibly even the playing field a bit. District play will be interesting. Quote
ponderossa Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Yea tough district for sure. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I believe the district opener against Garrison is going to determine if the hornets are going to make the playoffs or not. They will definitely need to regroup and win against the bulldogs. Quote
ponderossa Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I agree that game will be for a playoff spot in my opinion Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 57-0 with about 8 minutes left. Quote
tigerheart Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Hemphill scores on the last play of the game to make it 57-6. RB for HH fumbled on about the 5 and an OL recovered in the endzone to kill the shutout. DOMINATION Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 yea Hemphill is improved just not there yet to compete with teams like SA. Hemphill will have to play best game yet to beat Garrison in district They looked stronger last year...bad QB play and not enough receivers wanting to catch the ball! There is no way Hemphill can beat anyone in their district! Quote

There is no way Hemphill can beat anyone in their district! I don't know bout that I think this years team is better than last year. I think they got a shot at winning couple games in district but they will have to play lights out. Good luck to SA y'all should win district y'all are way better than west Sabine. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 They'll have to win 2 of 3 games to make the playoffs..garrison, Crockett, or deweyville. I don't see that happening. Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 They'll have to win 2 of 3 games to make the playoffs..garrison, Crockett, or deweyville. I don't see that happening. There is no way they can beat Garrison...they are too big on Defense. Maybe they can hold Garrison on scoring, but I doubt it...they cant stop the run or pass! It will be out of Hemphill/Deweyville for last im afraid! Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Maybe they can get it together and surprise some people. Deweyville isn't as bad as their record indicates. Time will tell. Quote

TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I think they have about 5 seniors (deweyville). They'll be much better next year, but it isn't next year. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Guess the flood gates opened Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I think they have about 5 seniors (deweyville). They'll be much better next year, but it isn't next year. Was referring to last year's team. Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Guess the flood gates opened Reality just set in for the Hornets...and possibly let HD know that it's confirmed that they are losing their first playoff battle again this year! Quote
