Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Reality just set in for the Hornets...and possibly let HD know that it's confirmed that they are losing their first playoff battle again this year!if they make it to that point. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Yall all-everything player back yet? Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Yall all-everything player back yet? Yeah he had over 150 rushing and 150 passing at halftime... Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Yeah they lost lots to graduation..their qb was a pretty good player as best I recall. I'm afraid any hornet victories the rest of this season will be few and far between. As far as HD is concerned, c'mon, they did put 74 on colmesneil tonight. Quote

tigerheart Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Jmike at QB had a great game All the running backs were good and Jeremy was just punishing folks on his runs. Sophomore WR Keonte Watts had a breakout game. 2 Big time receiving touchdowns. Probably had 150 receiving yards easily. Freshman quay handy had a special teams TD. And the defense just dominated. Hemphill had maybe 2-3 first downs in the first half. I can remember atleast 2 ints. Possibly more. Just a domination of an opponent in all 3 phases. Quote
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Congrats SA, way to play. I was wrong... But just so you know, HD would beat Hemphill by 30 if they played right now, HD is a much improved, healthy team now. Quote
tigerheart Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 San Augustine ran 61 plays and had 612 yards of offense. Left 2 tds on the field. And pulled starting qb and rb and 2 wrs after the 1st drive of the 2nd half when it was 50-0. Starting offense had 8 possesions and scored on 6 of them. Dropped a TD pass on 1 possession, and had a "fumble" (very bad officiating but oh well) on the 2 going in on the other. Quote

They were horrible at blowing the whistle when you had 5 guys tackling the kid...already made forward progress...play should have been whistled! Hemphill's last play should have been half the distances...not sure why they put it on the 5! Quote

Get over it just move on and focus on district Quote

Get over it just move on and focus on district Agreed, Hemphill is a better team than HD. HD fans always think it would be different if they played the teams they lose to again. Quote
mmccary Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 SA also had a safety after a bad Hemphill punt... Quote
