Bigdog Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Probably for the district tie-breaker differential Quote
TxHoops Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Man, Vidor has no quit in 'em though. Reflection of coaching IMO. Quote
Curelover32 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Not very classy of Neumann going for two. Good job Pirates. Good luck Bulldogs. Quote
phunter308 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 That is possible since PN-G and Central put up over 50 each. Quote
phunter308 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 PN-G was over at half. 56 - 7 last post. I think PN-G band finishing up game lol. jk Curelover32 1 Quote

TDub341115 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Are we complaining about getting beat by 51 or getting beat by 52? Neuman is simply getting work for his boys in case they need it later and point differential. Smart coaching if you ask me. Curelover32 and pngfan97 2 Quote
phunter308 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 That was not classless . Just thinking ahead and I am sure Neumann know what the other teams are doing. I*t was a close game with big momentum swings. Not like it was blow out. Guess what though DOGS still undefeated. Maybe next year Pirates. Good game to all the young men on both teams. Quote

Holman Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I guess Vidor should've stopped them from scoring the 2 pointer. football04 1 Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Funny if this wouldve happened to ned or png yall would be saying the same thing. Curelover32 1 Quote

TDub341115 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 If you know football at all, even if it happens to you, you should appreciate decent coaching and smart play calling. Not saying it ever feels good, but still smart. Quote
TxHoops Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I would be more upset about punching one in late than going for 2. Does 1 pt more in final score really make a difference? Holman 1 Quote
phunter308 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Good start DOGS but got to clean up turnovers and penalties. Same can be said for Vidor. Forget this one and look forward to next week. Quote
Bigdog Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Wow, tale of two halves, we played pretty well in the first half and should have put the game out of reach and then penalties and a TO let Vidor make it closer. And no, Neumann wasn't running up the score there is an max of +18 for point differential for district tiebreakers. So he was trying to make sure we had the max amount. TxHoops Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Those points might be needed in tiebreaker situations, had to take those points Ah, gotcha. I never have a problem with any of it. Don't like it? Stop 'em! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

NDOMAKONG Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 When Nederland plays mistake free on offense, they are extremely explosive. Lots of good things to build on tonight, but still a long way to go Quote
Pipelinepirate03 Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 Sage is good, better hope he stays healthy. Nederland would be hurting without him. Have y'all had this many issues with personal foul penalties all year? Quote
Indianforever Posted September 27, 2014 Report Posted September 27, 2014 I know I gave you bulldogs a hard time but great win glad to see y'all back Quote
