whatnamecanipick Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Coach Strong is preparing a defense that Baylor has never seen. A TACKLING LONGHORN defense. Now he has a week to convince the kids. LOL Not making excuses but Baylor looks pretty good. And a great OL and a run first offense that is hard to stop. SPCFBG Quote
whatnamecanipick Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 70-6 Baylor Welcome Newbie! Quote
Roper84 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 77-0 Beat y'all to it. Took care of the obligatory Aggies obsession and the sips! Quote
baddog Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Texas looked terrible even though they won. I'll say 44-24 Baylor, but I will pull for the Horns. Quote

shovel Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 oklahoma beat a&m by that score several years ago :) Yep! 2003. I bet an Aggie a beer a point. He never paid up and no longer speaks to me. Sore losers... Baylor wont beat Texas that bad. They will take thier foot off the neck after they hang half a hundred on them! Quote
RaiderRed30 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Baylor by 4 TDs. They showed last night the read option will work against them. Swoopes should get at least 2 running 56-21 Quote
Eazy Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Spread opens at 14. Better jump on that before it goes to 20. Bears roll. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Spread opens at 14. Better jump on that before it goes to 20. Bears roll. It's already at 14.5 I'm interested to see if Texas's defense can slow down Baylor any. I don't think their offense can put up enough points to keep it close. Quote

I don't think their offense can put up enough points to keep it close. I agree. Will be interesting to see just how much the defense has improved. They haven't seen an offense this good yet. The D will determine how "close" the game is. I can't see them being able to keep it within the point spread personally. Quote
OldTimer Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 This game could get ugly - Baylor by 30+. And I estimate that Texas will score no more than 10 points. Texas scored only 23 points against a team that Allowed: 28 - SE Miss State 41 - Duke (a basketball school I believe it was called when A&M played them) 24 - Central Michigan So to say Texas offense struggled against a bad team. Strong has his work cut out for him. Quote

Roper84 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Whatshername, let me break this to you gently: Briles will not be nice to y'all. He's got a heisman to win and a resume' to pad. Quote

Don't expect the same from the the Baylor Bears. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Isn't this the same rhetoric we heard going into the OU game last season? How did that one come out? Yeah yeah, Texas is expected to lose and lose big. We might just have our "Miracle on the Brazos". But then again, we're not on the brazos :( how bout the Colorado :) whatnamecanipick 1 Quote
whatnamecanipick Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 per the AAS The Austin city council has just passed a new ordinance against bears on Saturdays, only. Don't you love it when politics and football collide. It is kinda like having an Aggie for governor. :P :P :P Quote
