PhatMack19 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 12pm Sunday Both teams are 3-1 and playing pretty well. This should be a fun game. Dallas opens as a 4 point favorite at home. Quote
BigTicket409 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 We will see just how good the Dallas offensive line is against J.J. Watt and company. It amazes me how sports broadcasters jump on and off the bandwagon. Dallas is exactly who we think they are until they make the playoffs and win a couple of playoff games. Houston by 3. Quote
Ty Cobb Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 I'm ready to see this match up, as well as, the COWBOYS vs seattle. These next two games will be a great test for the COWBOYS offense. As far as this week goes: The highlight of this game will be the COWBOYS offense vs the texans defense. The determining factor will be the COWBOYS defense vs the texans offense. I'm taking the COWBOYS!!! Quote
shovel Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 I hope J.J. Watt has a couple of pick-six left in him for this game. I'm hoping that Matt Schaub-with-a-beard has the best game of his career. I dont think I can take any more looking at Jerry Jones grinning like a rabid possum. I like his Mr. Yuck face better. Quote

Dallas hasn't really beat anybody yet, the Texans will be the best team they have played so far, I don't get the bandwagon. Quote
baddog Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 DeMarco Murray ain't the top RB in the league for nothing. Dallas' line is full of 1st round draft choices and it shows. S.F. and Titans have solid d-lines and were blown off the ball. Romo has protection and play action is killing defenses. This is the NFL. Heck yeah we have played somebody. Not putting Dallas in the SB, just know what I see. Houston barely beat the freaking Bills if we talk about playing somebody. Watt won't score the deciding TD in this one. Fitzpatrick is worse than Shaub. 28-10 Dallas. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Im a Dallas fan. When is the last time we won 4 straight? I can easily see us losing this one in embarrassing fashion. Im still picking Dallas by 3, but it wont be pretty. SmashMouth 1 Quote
Eazy Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Dallas coming in as the favorite will probably mean the Cowboys lose. The Texans defense should be the best that the Cowboys have faced so far. I was surprised with the big Cowboy win against the Saints, but I won't be surprised if the Texans do just enough on offense to get the win. Quote

Romo will have trouble with safeties Joseph and Jackson, Swearinger will come up front to force Romo out of his stride.Texan defense will be too much for the Cowboys. Cushing, and Reed are beast. The cowboys will have to play their best game ever to beat the Texans. I see this game as a home game for the Texans. There will be a lot of Texans fans there. JJ is in a class all by himself, I see him swatting Romo's passes and Romo sliding across the field a lot to avoid getting hit. It might work for awhile, not nearly all day. Just my take on things. Texans will not need their QB to be perfect, their special team play is much improved since a year ago. We have a punter that will keep the Cowboys deep on their side of the field where JJ Wyatt will become a monster. Murray is a top running back class act and I really like his game. Cry baby Dez Bryant will have his hands full the whole day. Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 It will be a miracle if Murray is durable enough to make it through the season w/o an injury. I'm afraid cowboy fans are in for a very big letdown as far as how the season is going to play out. Riding high at the moment, but disappointment is right around the corner for the 'boys. Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 I'll take the Cowboys by 6. Quote

I agree that the COWBOYS haven't played the toughest part of their schedule yet and some of their wins have come against lesser opponents. Wins: St. Louis (1-2) Tennessee (1-3) New Orleans (1-3) Loss: San Francisco (2-2) Tell me though, who have the texans beat? Wins: washington (1-3) Oakland (0-4) Buffalo (2-2) Loss: New York Giants (2-2) The saints and the 49ers are better than any team that the texans have played. Now, we all know this means nothing. Hopefully the COWBOYS will play as well as they did vs the saints!!! Quote
TXHORN_ET Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Ya either love 'em or hate 'em. There's no in between when it comes to Dallas. Quote

The Saints are not a good team, they are barely decent, and the 49ers are having some pretty serious issues of their own right now. The way the Giants have finally started clicking they can compete with anyone right now. Oakland and Washington are bad, Bills not so much. Quote

The wins for both teams have been against mediocre to bad teams. Buffalo and NO are the mediocre teams. This game is a toss-up, but I'm leaning with the Texans. Quote
baddog Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 I think Murray will stay healthy. He made it past the hitmen of the Ain'ts. Folks, this is the NFL and lots of teams that are not winning are a simple play or two away from reversing their records. Look at the spreads of all the NFL games. They average out to a FG, so that tells me the competition is there. You have to earn every win. Some games just go south. You can't play the SB champ every week (Dallas will play them after the Texans) so you better prepare for the next team. Who would have picked the Chiefs to win last night? Quote

JWB Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Murray will have another big game vs Houston. GO COWBOYS!!! Quote
jordibug15 Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Hate that my favorite NFL player has to play my favorite NFL teams. But I hope JJ has a good game but I hope my COWBOYS win Quote
baddog Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 I won 200 off that game. Chiefs were 1-2 before that game. Why bet on a nobody?.....I guess they weren't a nobody which makes my point. Quote
SKINS Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Because they patriots are a very bad team right now. Quote
