Many believe they are saved because they believe and that is true. But, even more true, his word says that we are called, that he has chosen us to believe. Without being called we have no desire to believe. .

So let me clarify for you.  I believe in science.  Secular has nothing to do with it.

Everyone has a belief system and worldview!  Some scientists have a worldview and belief that there is no God or creator hence secular, while there are other scientists who do believe in a God/Creator!! Some could be called Christian and others Deists.
